About Us

LaunchEd Consulting is an education and workforce development organization committed to improving academic outcomes and strengthening transition pathways for students.

We partner with schools, workforce agencies, community organizations, and families to enhance inclusive instructional practices, build educator capacity, and prepare students for meaningful life, education, and career opportunities. While our transition programming supports students moving beyond high school, our consulting services extend across K–12 settings, helping educators improve academic access, engagement, and long-term outcomes for students with disabilities.

Our Approach

Customized Solutions

Explore

Students explore possibilities. Educators examine practice.

Students begin by exploring career pathways, personal strengths, academic goals, and postsecondary options. Through guided self-assessments, structured discussions, and real-world examples, they develop greater clarity about future opportunities and expectations.

At the same time, educators engage in reflective professional learning focused on understanding student needs, strengthening inclusive practices, and aligning instruction with long-term transition and workforce readiness goals.

Prepare

Students build skills. Educators strengthen systems and instruction.

Once direction is established, students begin developing the practical academic and life skills necessary for success in school, independent living, postsecondary education, and the workforce. Sessions emphasize real-world competencies such as communication, executive functioning, financial literacy, and self-advocacy, while reinforcing literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.

In parallel, LaunchED provides professional development and coaching for educators focused on:

  • Differentiated and inclusive instructional strategies

  • Integrating transition skills into academic instruction

  • IEP-aligned goal development

  • Data-informed instruction for students with disabilities

  • Building classroom practices that increase engagement and access

Launch!

Students apply learning. Schools sustain impact.

In the final phase, students apply what they have learned through relevant, hands-on, application-based experiences aligned to their goals. These may include career simulations, portfolio development, pathway planning, and real-world problem-solving activities that move them toward independence and employment readiness.

For educators and school partners, this phase focuses on sustainability, embedding inclusive practices, transition-aligned instruction, and workforce readiness frameworks into everyday teaching and school systems.
